March 15 (Reuters) – Utility firm CenterPoint Energy Inc (CNP.N) on Wednesday named peer PG&E Corp’s (PCG.N) finance head Christopher Foster as its new chief financial officer and executive vice president, effective May 5.

Foster replaces Jason Wells, who was recently promoted to chief operating officer. PG&E on Wednesday named Carolyn Burke as its new CFO.

Burke, 55, has been serving as a special adviser to PG&E since Jan. 3 and was previously the executive vice president and CFO of Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. She will receive an annual base salary of $725,000 at PG&E.
