New Feature in F-150 Lightning Addresses Major EV Frustration

Ford has introduced a game-changing feature on the 2024 edition of the F-150 Lightning. The Vapor Injection Heat Pump System is being touted as a major update that will optimize power consumption whether the vehicle is in heating or cooling mode. This system is said to ensure top-notch performance in all weather conditions, but its real-world impact will only be known once the vehicles hit the market.

In addition to this revolutionary feature, the Tow Technology Package is now a standard offering on XLT and higher variants. This package includes Smart Hitch, On-board Scales, a 360-degree camera, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and Trailer Reverse Guidance. Moreover, the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning also supports Pro Power Onboard, allowing owners to use the truck as a power source even when the vehicle is turned off.

The Ford BlueCruise package has also received upgrades, such as a new handsfree highway driving mode, Lane Change Assist, and in-lane repositioning feature on select trims.

With regards to pricing, the 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning now starts at ,995 for the XLT Standard Range variant, down from ,995. The Flash Extended Range variant is priced at ,995 – a ,500 reduction from its previous price of ,495. The Lariat Extended Range option is now ,995, ,500 cheaper than before. The Platinum Extended Range remains at ,995.

Ford is making significant strides in improving the F-150 Lightning, offering new features and more competitive pricing to attract consumers looking for a high-performance electric truck.
